Why was Dr. Anthony J. Lanza at MetLife doing so many terrible things to conceal asbestos damages? It centers on an oft-referenced paper he published in 1934 called "The Effects of the Inhalation of Asbestos Dust on The Lungs of Asbestos Workers."
Lanza and MetLife had already gone into several different asbestos plants and had taken surveys of the workers. He knew that many of the workers already had asbestosis. But publishing the results as they stood would have meant financial ruin for many "important" companies.
So rather than doing the right thing, Lanza did this...
