Asbestos Lawsuit History; First Asbestos Lawsuit (Asbestos Conspiracy): ASBESTOS FRAGMENTS 101

Visit us anytime at https://www.asbestosclaims.law/. The asbestos coverup became necessary in May of 1929 when the first asbestos-related lawsuit was filed in New Jersey by a woman named Anna Pirskowski, an employee of Johns Manville.

The lawsuit argued that Johns-Manville had failed: to provide the plaintiff with a safe place to work, provide the plaintiff with masks or other appliances, and have a proper ventilation system.

This is where it all began. And it paved the way for many lawsuits to come (and to the present day).

These "Asbestos Fragments" are short snippets from our multi-part Asbestos 101 series, which explores everything you could ever need to know about asbestos, from the science to the tragedy to the laws in place today.

This fragment is from Part Four. Full-length Asbestos 101, Part FOUR, can be found here: https://youtu.be/-bHwTPgEFDg
