Rare Artifacts: Asbestos Fibers from Historic Canadian Mines | Asbestos Artifacts

Hi everyone, I'm Asbestos Attorney Justinian Lane, and today I'm excited to share some very rare and intriguing artifacts: actual asbestos fibers from former operating asbestos mines in Canada.

First up, we have a sample from the Johns Manville mine in Quebec, which was once the largest asbestos mine in the world. This particular sample, dating back to the 1950s, was mailed out to clients interested in the quality and characteristics of the asbestos fibers.

Next, we explore asbestos fibers from the Cassier Mine in British Columbia. This mine began operations in the 1950s following a significant discovery and has since closed, but these fibers remain as a testament to its history.

Representing clients with extensive histories of working with asbestos allows me to come across unique artifacts like these. For more in-depth explorations of asbestos products and history, be sure to check out our YouTube channel.

I hope you enjoy these fascinating videos about asbestos and its historical significance.
