Biomedical and Environmental Sciences (BES) is a peer-reviewed comprehensive medical journal sponsored by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
BES mainly focuses on public health problems induced by biological factors, nutritional factors, environmental/ecological factors and physical/chemical factors.
Recently published papers have covered the areas of epidemiology, nutrition and food hygiene, environmental sanitation and environmental medicine, child and adolescent health, occupational health, radiological health, maternal and child health, and health management.
