Asbestos Rewind: German V2 Rockets & First to The Moon with Wernher von Braun

Visit us anytime at https://www.asbestosclaims.law/. At Asbestos Rewind, we take trips back in time to explore all the ways humans used asbestos throughout history.

Let's look at January 1943. It was the height of World War II, and the Germans had invented what many allies feared was a game-changer: The V2 Rocket!

The rocket was raining down on London. It was a super weapon. But it was also relatively new and the guidance system had not been perfected.

As such, one of them crashed unexploded, and it was discovered (not surprisingly) that the fuel line was wrapped with asbestos insulation.

We explore the original blueprints of the V2 and pick apart its design. And we also look at how the original designer of the V2 (Wernher Von Braun) eventually enabled Americans to put a man on the moon.
